Six things that set your quote
We price the work, not your budget. These are the only factors that move the number.
Project size
Square footage and the number of drawing sheets drive measuring time. A 2,000 SF remodel and a 200,000 SF warehouse are priced very differently.
Number of trades
A single-trade takeoff is the fastest work we do. Full multi-trade estimates across every CSI division take proportionally longer.
Drawing completeness
Schematic sets need more assumptions and allowances. Complete construction documents with specifications let us move faster.
Turnaround
Standard delivery is 24–48 hours. Rush delivery for next-day bid dates carries a modest premium we confirm before starting.
Deliverable format
Our standard workbook is included. Custom templates, cost codes or import files for your software are set up once and reused.
Estimate type

How is the price for my project determined?
We review the drawings, count the sheets and trades involved, and confirm the estimate type and deadline. You receive a fixed quote within two business hours. The price never changes after you approve it, even if the takeoff takes us longer than expected.
Is there a minimum charge?
Per-project work starts at $150 for a single-trade takeoff on a small set. There is no monthly minimum, no subscription and no setup fee for per-project clients.
What happens if I do not use all eight estimates on the monthly plan?
Unused estimates do not roll over, but you can downgrade or pause the plan at the end of any month. Most monthly clients bid between six and ten projects a month, which is where the plan saves the most.
Do you charge for addenda or revisions?
No. Revisions driven by addenda, clarifications or your own scope changes are included until bid day on every plan.
Can I get a refund if I am not satisfied?
If an estimate does not meet the scope we agreed to in writing, we revise it at no charge, and if we cannot make it right we refund the fee. Our accuracy guarantee is documented in the terms of service.
Do new clients get a discount?
Yes. First-time clients receive an introductory discount on their first per-project estimate, applied automatically when you upload plans.
