How lead generation fits an estimating workflow
In construction, a lead is a project you can credibly bid. That means the scope matches your trade, the location is within your travel radius, the owner type and bonding rules suit your company, and enough time remains to price it. Our process starts by documenting your target profile: trades, project size range, preferred delivery methods, public or private mix and the counties or states you will work in.
We then monitor the sources where opportunities appear, including public agency bid portals, plan rooms, planning-board filings, invitations to bid from general contractors and trade association boards.
Each opportunity is logged with bid date, owner, estimated size, plans availability, prequalification demands and a fit score. We cannot invent demand or guarantee awards; we reduce the time between a posting and your estimator seeing it.
Support extends to the paperwork that gets you invited. Prequalification packages, capability statements, safety and experience modifier summaries, project references and bidder registration forms are prepared in the formats agencies and general contractors expect. The weekly pipeline report shows what was found, what you pursued and what happened, so the effort can be measured.

How our estimating process works
Four steps from upload to a bid-ready estimate, with a senior estimator signing off before anything leaves our desk.
- 1
Upload plans and scope
Send your drawings, specifications and bid invitation through the secure upload form. We confirm scope, deadline and a fixed price within two business hours.
- 2
Digital quantity takeoff
Estimators measure every item from calibrated plans in Bluebeam and PlanSwift, color-coding each layer so quantities can be traced back to the drawing.
- 3
Pricing and labor
Quantities are priced with location-adjusted material costs, crew productivity rates and equipment, then marked up to your overhead and profit targets.
- 4
Senior review and delivery
A second estimator audits quantities and pricing, documents assumptions and exclusions, and delivers your Excel workbook, PDF summary and marked-up plans.

An estimating desk that behaves like an extension of your team, not a software subscription.
Estimators who understand scope reading the postings

Construction Lead Generation FAQs
Do you guarantee a number of leads or awarded projects?
No. We guarantee the process: monitoring the sources you choose, filtering by your criteria and reporting every opportunity found. Whether a bid becomes a contract depends on your price, qualifications and relationships, and any promise of guaranteed awards in this industry should be treated with caution.
Where do the opportunities come from?
Public agency portals, commercial plan rooms, bid boards, invitations to bid sent to your company, planning and permit filings, and trade association postings. We list every source in your onboarding profile so you know exactly where we look and which ones need your login.
Can you match leads to my specific trade?
Yes. We map your trade to CSI divisions and keywords, then read the scope on each posting rather than relying on category tags alone. An electrical contractor sees Division 26 and 27 work in the right counties, not every project with a building permit.
What goes into a prequalification package?
Typically company history, safety statistics and experience modification rate, financial statements or bank letters, bonding capacity, project references, insurance certificates, licenses and key personnel. We organize the material and format it to each agency's checklist, while you supply and sign the underlying records.
Can the same team then price the leads we pursue?
Yes, and most clients use it that way. A qualified lead moves straight to a takeoff and estimate with documents already organized. You can also use only the sourcing service and keep estimating in-house, which many subcontractors do.
How do you report results?
A weekly pipeline report lists new opportunities, pursued bids, submitted bids, awards and losses with values and dates. A monthly summary compares hit rates by owner type, trade and region so we can tighten the criteria and stop sending lead types that never convert.
